exit full screen in safari

I have troubles with exit full screen in safari. I had this issue earlier but problem was fixed by itself. Now it occurred again. Does have somebody any idea how to force safari to not hide stupid buttons? thanx. PS.: I am not fan of keyboard shortcuts https://youtu.be/J6BNRzolhdg

A1 - ESC on keyboard

A2 - The buttons do disappear in Full Screen Mode and Re-Appear in Normal Mode

Should that not be to the users liking >>

Full screen hides the buttons by definition! However, you just have to move the cursor to the of the screen AND KEEP IT THERE for about a second or so to make them reappear. Your video shows your cursor barely reaching the top and "running away from it", never staying long enough. So you probably just have "push against the top of the screen" just a tad longer.

(FWIW, you are losing big on usability, and possibly the health of your wrists, by your antipathy towards keyboard shortcuts... just sayin'). Escape is such a simple shortcut, anyway. (there is also command-control-F to enter/exit fullscreen, which you probably don't want to remember, but Escape... to escape is as simple as can be.

actual video. Does it have to do something with second monitor attached to MacBook?

Luis, my experience with MacBook was that I do not need to hold the mouse near the corner for a few secs not only on 2 core i7 but also on M1. I believe this is only software issue which will be repaired by itself.

I use my MBP with a second monitor too, and I cannot reproduce this issue. I don't think that is the reason, but you can confirm if that is the case: temporarily disconnect the second monitor and see if the problem remains.

I noticed this blue octagon with a hand in your video. It is similar with the icon for privacy settings (but octogonal rather than circular). I suppose this is put there by some Safari extension that you installed. Could that be having an impact on the present issue? Which extension is it? Or is it something else?
