My iPhone not receiving messages but I can send them

If anyone is like me and recently switched from an Android phone to an Iphone and you can send SMS messages to android users but cannot receive messages- make sure if you were using RCS messages on your android phone you DE-REGISTER your phone number from RCS chats. https://messages.google.com/disable-chat

After I did this it fixed it and there are not a lot of threads regarding this out there online.

Do you have sms messaging on

Maybe no one is sending it.

Maybe they do not have your correct Phone number?
