Until a few days ago, everything was working fine. Now, each time I try to contact a person, the following happens:
What is going on? We are family and need to be able to contact each other.

Have someone else try to contact them. Try calling them from another number. If you're close by, go to their house and knock on the door.
They could have blocked you. They could have canceled/changed their phone service. Their phone could have been lost or stolen.

They are older and not great with tech. They accidentally blocked a bunch of people on their contact list, myself included. We discovered this when I masked my number and the call went through. From there, we did some troubleshooting and got it sorted. Thanks for your reply!
I'm glad you got it sorted out.
I would like to point out that "older" is not synonymous with "not great with tech". Some of the most knowledgeable people on this forum are in their seventies and eighties. I think there's even someone in their nineties. And I've met some young people who are "not great with tech". ;-)
