FCP just started opening all projects with the timeline in "full zoom." Can I disable this?
I know that FCP just had a new release, and... on top of that... I had a computer meltdown that forced me to do a full "Erase this Mac" fresh start. So... I've lost all my FCP settings as I start from the beginning.
So I don't know what started this... but... as of right now... if I have a project open... and I have the timeline zoomed in at approx. ~50-75%... if I open another project, and then double-click to return to the previous project where I was just working... the timeline is now zoomed in to 100% and my playhead is not where I left it.
I have a lot of clips that I use very often, so I created a library called "Common clips". Within this library, I keep 10-15 Projects that all only contain 1 short clip, title, or compound clip. The idea was that I could just leave this "Common Clips" library open all the time... and when I need one of these assets, I could just quickly double click that Project > Copy the clip I need > double-click the project I was working on > quickly Cmd + V paste the clip right where I was just working. This was because the timeline always re-opened right as I left it... same zoom... same playhead location.
But now... when I reopen the project... it is very disorienting. It is is full zoom, and my playhead... while it may be "where I left it" as far as timecode goes... it is not in the same place on the screen where I left it.
Is this a new "feature/bug" with the latest release... or is there a setting that I just cannot find?
