Studio Display Microphone Cuts Out Periodically with Windows PC

My Studio Display microphone cuts out periodically when used with a Windows 10 laptop, no issue when using MacOS. I notice it most in Microsoft Teams calls but other software that uses the microphone also suffers from it. The fix is to restart the Windows PC and the Studio Display. Switching between microphones mid-call used to fix the issue but not any more.
