Iphone Heating UP?

Yes...

Accessorize Warning!

Dash mount = direct exposure to sunlight = I placed a dedicated air vent to keep my phone cool.

Charge cable = current seeks path of least resistance = power from wall + phone needing power = cable is too long for current, struggles to get through = I reduced my charging cable to no more than 1 foot + got a Lighting cable.

Case = phone is encased in sauna due being SEALED inside = see my idea for my case, it's working for me, it relates to sound problems.

I have an iphone 13 pro max = didn't have these issues until = dash mount direct sun + charge cable really long (even Apple certified) + total body sealed case!

duced LONG cable down to 1ft + lightning cable

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

Since the question I was responding to was unavailable for me to respond other than starting a "New Question", I decided to post the "heating up" phenomenon and what has worked for me.

OBTW ...

posted my fix to my Iphone "Glitch, no sound, stutter" sound on phone conversations.

New case works better with reducing heat with my alterations ... also bought a $1.00 miniature photo frame easel to place my phone on ... electricity cause heat when a ton of operations get selected front ground or back... it has to go somewhere ... with my Iphone in easel ... gets warm every so often.
