Hi All, I recently updated my MacBook Pro to Ventura 13.4.1 and I am now unable the view the preview of my Nikon Z9 NEF files. I am 99% sure I could view these files before the update. My settings in Camera are Raw High Efficiency *. Anyone else have this problem or have a fix? Cheers

If you could see Z9 RAW High Efficiency files in any previous version of macOS, you were the only one.

Ventura supports Nikon Z9 RAW images in Lossless RAW format only.

abbott84 - the RAW support for the Z9 has only been introduced with macOS 13 Ventura. It is missing from all previous lists of RAW support for the older system versions, see the list for Monterey: Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey - Apple Support
I already posted a screen shot of uncompressed Z9 RAW images. The title of the screen shot you posted clearly is about High Compression RAW files. And it's certainly not about previous versions of macOS.

No. Actually Monterey doesn't support the Z9 at all.
I not only know the answer I showed you the answer. But, suit yourself.
I don't understand how you are so certain? Like I have said twice, I used to be able to see these files now I can't. Others are reporting the same issue.
I am talking about a different version of Ventura, not a previous OS. As you can see below, this is a recent issue for Nikon shooters and a very real issue.
FWIW, the Z9 lossless RAW format is supported in Ventura and later…
Dialabrain, Mac OS used to be able to preview these files. There are lots of other people in the same situation. If you don't know the answer to the question it's fine.
Nikon NEF files are not able to be viewed in preview.
