What are the .m4m files and can I delete them?
Is it safe to have other domain names at the end of a .dmg file?

If it were me, which it is not, any file that does not have a Known Safe file extension would be fair game for Malware / Adware
This would be especially suspect if the file was downloaded from an Unknown, Untrusted or File Sharing Source
Thank you, P. Phillips, for your info. (I'm not sure my post will show up as a reply to you and I wanted to be certain my thanks went to you.)
I found those .m4m files by mistake. I searched for .dmg files to delete and selected Macintosh HD instead of "This Mac," so it showed system files. I was actually trying to avoid the ext HDs I had connected and thought Macintosh HD would prevent them, which was precisely backward as it included EVERYTHING! They are all small, some are rather old, and considering I have not had any problems, I don't think I need to worry about them. I do wish I knew what that stood for as an extension. I know I haven't used any sites that came up when I searched that extension, as none of them included the "." before the term.
Am not an expert is file extension so take with a pinch of salt
The closed I can find would be from this site
Though, it does not specifically list .m4m extension
