Is there any way to get a trade-in value from Apple without entering the Serial No?

I've tried using the trade-in valuation on apple.com but it doesn't seem to accurately recognise my serial no. I have a 27-inch 2019 Retina iMac, but when I enter the serial number it asks me a series of questions about the device which include its year, where I'm presented with options from Late-2013 to Late-2015 or Other, its HD capacity, where none of the available options match my actual 1TB Fusion Drive, and other such anomalies. Finally, after choosing the closest options I can, it tells me my barely 3-year-old device is ready to be recycled!

When using the Trade-In page, you might try copying and pasting the serial number (instead of typing it manually), just to make sure there are no accidental transpositions (like substituting the letter O for the digit 0).

In the Apple () > About This Mac dialog, double-click on the serial number to select it. Then do a Command-C (the keyboard shortcut for Copy). (Edit > Copy doesn't work with this dialog.) Paste the text into the Web page, and see if that makes a difference.

It probably won't. But if you typed in the serial number manually before, it might be worth trying.
