safari freezing on macbook air m2

Yahoo extremely slow on safari and safari keeps freezing. Any advice?

MacBook Air, macOS 13.4

Make sure you are using the most recent version of Ventura: 13.4.1

Is Yahoo the only website that freezes? If so,

You might try clearing the cache for Yahoo in Safari Settings > Privacy > "Manage Website Data"
