How do I get the SOS permanently off my phone?

You can't get rid of it permanently as it's not a one time issue to be solved. SOS is a condition that occurs when your iPhone cannot connect to your service provider's network, but can connect to another provider's network or service to place an emergency call.


It's a situational occurrence and can only be resolved by moving to a location where it can connect to your service provider. In some cases, it may be caused by an issue with your service, or their network and only they can resolve it. You would need to contact them directly in that case.


But again, it is not permanent as any number of situations can cause it to return.
