beach ball frequently

I have a MacBook Pro. 16 inch. M1Pro.Ventura 13.4.1. 16 GB. My Mac has had the spinning beach ball frequently since purchase. The store salesman told me this one would be blazing fast compared to my old that was several years old-I couldn't tell any difference from the start. Is there a check list I can run through to look for the problem? Just after one session I took these screen shots with activity monitor. I do not know what they mean

Thanks

Carl

Use the Activity Monitor application and make sure to use View >> View All Processes

Which you have already done - good work there 👍

What process or processes are using the Most CPU  and Memory.

Often times - the issue maybe not be one single Process but a combination of Processes

Also, when the computer is using so much Memory - it can be a indicator of a Lack Of Empty Spaces on the Drive.

In which case, the CPU and Memory usage would become Much More because it is searching for Empty Space to save all the Changes the user is performing.

Also, depending on the number of  Open Tabs in your Browser, they can also affect Memory Usage.

From what has been presented in your above images, I can see about 7 or 8 Different Open Tabs all to different web sites including 3 different Youtube sites
