Yes you can turn off AssistiveTouch and turn off iTunes and apps right below AssistiveTouch and then you can purchase an app by just double clicking on the side and if you want to turn AssistiveTouch back on you can. It took me forever to figure out trust me

I finally figured out how to purchase an app without clicking assistive touch. Go to settings, accessibility, touch and then click on assisttivetouch and turn off Face ID for iTunes and apps and go ahead and purchase your app and it works and then if you wanna put assistive touchback on you can. That took me forever to figure out so I reached out to Apple and they helped me with it.
