I received a text message from the number I used on lost mode asking me to put my passcode I use on my stolen phone to access the location. is this from Apple because the logo is there?

The message is not from Apple. This is a scam that is trying to trick you into providing information to unlock the phone.
Delete the message and any others like it that you might receive.
