how to MOVE ALL MY MAIL ONLY TO ANOTHER COMPUTER WITH HISTORY AND ALL FOLDERS
A bit late in the game here, but another option that may work for you in this case is to use an app, like MailSteward. This app keeps an updated archive of all of your email messages into a single database. In turn that database can be copied/exported to a new Mac, and then, restore any/all messages as you see fit.
Disclaimer: I do not work for MailSteward, but have been using this app for years and it has proven itself time and time again.

Thank You Jeffrey - from the viewpoint of a long time business user I've found that MacMail to be a problematic app. I store my contact emails in folder (literally hundreds due to the long term use). If I'm directly updating from an existing computer to a new computer migration works and brings over all my email folders. Currently I need bring the existing mail folders over to another existing computer v. to a new computer. Trying to figure out how to do that. I'm sure the data is likely in a Library somewhere but where?
The Apple Mail contents are in your user Library/Mail folder. One thing you can try is to simply copy everything in that folder to the same folder on the new Mac. You can also try using Migration Assistant to migrate from a Time Machine backup of the old Mac to the new Mac, that should bring over all existing Mail and its folders. These options will only likely work if the new Mac has a later (or equal) MacOS version versus the old one.
To do that I believe you will need to use the export/ import method.Look at your email apps help menu for specific instructions on how this can be done. I would then print out the instructions for easy reference.
you can just open the mail app and enter the account's credentials to set it up. everything that is on the e-mail's server (mailboxes etc) will be carried over to the new Mac. be aware that depending on how many e-mails that exist on the server it may take a while to populate them on the mail app.
I just did drag and drop into a folder I later moved to a new Mac. I subsequently dragged some back to the mail app, but decided to just leave them in the folder (to be backed up easily) for future reference,
On the new Mac, recreating the mail accounts will give access to the web mail's content and those emails will be downloaded.
I should point out that Migration Assistant only allows the migration/transfer of all or no files, etc. It is not possible to individually select what to transfer. It would be nice were it otherwise.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I'm a few days off to giving the mail movement a try. We are doing a rotation in the office with the oldest iMac with the mail the last one to deal with after other computers are replaced or updated.
Thank you very much. I will give it a try!
