Connect model A1082 Display to 2015 MacBook Pro

How do I connect my 2015 15" Macbook Pro? I can see that the display is connected in system settings with HDMI and USB connected but no image on the screen.

Connecting MacBook Pro M4 2024 to old Apple Cinema Display Hello, I'm trying to connect my new Macbook M4 2024 to my old Apple Cinema Display (serial no 2A94338Z0K0) and not having much luck. On the Cinema Display I have a USB, Thunderbolt 2 and a small MagSafe connector. I have tried the USB to USB C adapter and the Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter and neither seem to work. The display itself is powered and connects to my old MacBook (mid 2015) no problem. Any advice or is my display too old to be compatible with my new MacBook? Thanks in advance!

Cannot use 2011 Mac as external display for 2017 MacBook Air Trying to use my old 2011 Mac High Sierra as a monitor for 2017 MacBook Air Monterey with thunderbolt cable. Can’t seem to get it to work. Any ideas?

You should be able to connect the display to one of the Mac's Thunderbolt ports with a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter, such as:
