VTFS paragon driver

I'm trying to allow access for the above vtfs paragon driver program on a MacBook Air M1. I've got a partitioned seagate hard drive I want to format into ntfs. To enable use on a Samsung tv with 1 of the partitions. When I restart using fingerprint held down the MacBook just goes to recovery mode. How do I get it to launch the startup security utility?

I am thinking this can be done safely, as I haven't found any info not to do it.

I think you're going to have to get assistance from: https://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/

They are responsible for making their product work with macOS, not the other way around.
