airplay mac to new insignia tv
We can't get our mac to airplay to our new insignia tv. We can go all the way to putting in the code on the mac and then it says can not connect.

What is the exact model TV?
Do the TV specifications list AirPlay support? AirPlay is different from Chromecast for compatibility.
If AirPlay is supported, then has AirPlay been activated as a service in the TV settings? In ‘Off’ setting, connection attempts will be ignored.
Does the TV screen display a 4 digit pairing code for AirPlay? Or does the Mac ask for a password? If a password is set on the receiving device, then find it in Settings on there, or change it to something different, or disable the password requirement.

Some content providers may not support AirPlay at all. Select content providers may support AirPlay from mobile apps, but not from sites through a browser. Can you broadly tell what you were trying to stream using AirPlay?
