Do I get to keep the songs?

Okay! I’m new to this. Be nice.

If I sign up, it’s free for a month, then it’s $10.99 per month for the individual plan. I then download the songs I want to my library. Say in 3 months, I no longer wish to be a member. Do I get to keep the songs I downloaded to my library, and do I get to play them anytime I want, without any extra fees or costs?

Just want my library of music that I've already paid for, not to subscribe to anything. I have a library of songs that, over the years, I have paid for on iTunes. I don't want to subscribe to a streaming service, just want to move the songs to an Android phone.

Has Apple taken away the ability to share a music library? It seems like I paid for a subscription that stored all music in the cloud and family could play it on phones.
