Do I need to let Apple know that I’ll be using my card overseas ahead of time?

, Apple Card MasterCard (Goldman Sachs) does not require that you notify them of domestic or international travel. In fact, their support team doesn’t have a place for the automated transaction system to consider travel. The system uses more sophisticated means. However, it may make an error if your spending pattern is similar to what fraudulent transactions look like.


I generally recommend do a few small transactions before making a large purchase. An example would arriving in Paris and your first large purchase is something at an expensive store, say a Rolex. I would make a few smaller purchases before a large purchase.
