If I used an existing email address (not an apple email address) when I originally set up my iPhone, can I get an apple Mail address without changing my Apple ID? I would like to use apple Mail but I don't know if I have an address by default or have to get one since i used another email address as my Apple ID when I set up my iPhone.

If you have an existing email address as your Apple ID but you want to use iCloud Mail, create a primary email address for it by following Create a primary email address for iCloud Mail.
