Family sharing doesn’t share both ways
We have family sharing, husband shares with me and buys 50 G of storage. We needed more so I bought 200G, but can’t share with him. Help!

The organizer has to make the purchase. It won’t work the other way around so if you are not the family organizer and your husband is, he has to purchase the additional storage.
Hi there Tundrab,
You'll want to be sure you've followed the correct steps to share iCloud+ with your family. This will need to be done in Settings through the Family Sharing settings. Follow these steps:
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
In iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or later:
1. If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet, set up Family Sharing.
2. Go to Settings > Family.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap iCloud+.
5. Follow the steps to share your existing plan.
6. Use Messages to let any family members with an existing iCloud+ plan know that they can now switch to your shared iCloud+ plan.
You'll find those details here: Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support
Take care.
Thx, I got help getting that fixed. Apple refunded my purchase and husband got the 200g, but I have another question about sharing calendars:
do the same rules apply to calendar sharing? I had shared my calendar (since I used Google calendar before my iPhone purchase). Now my shared calendar was unshared and my husbands calendar is shared with me. Plz note, he never uses his calendar and relied on me to keep up with our schedule. I’m the secretary of this relationship.
