open rmp file on MacBook Pro

Im am using a MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.1.4. I am trying to open rmp files and it is trying to use music to open. How do I open these files to view them. Is there a downtown for an extension link or a app I can download to open these?

Hi jaimie567,

The file extension that you're attempting to open appears to be most commonly related with RealPlayer media, which would explain why Music is being used. It may be necessary to install a third-party application that offers .rmp file support to access those files. You may also be able to convert those files by following the steps in Convert music file formats in Music on Mac. If an external app is required, you may consult with the source of the files to verify suitable software for your needs.

Regards.
