MacBook Air vs. MacBook Pro regarding Logic Pro and 3D modeling

I’m in the market for a new MacBook, and I’m wondering if the new 15” MacBook Air with M2 chip is sufficient or if I should get something in the MacBook Pro lineup.  My biggest considerations are: 1) how well Logic Pro will run on the M2 MacBook Air, and 2) how well the M2 MacBook Air can handle 3D modeling.  It’s important to note that I am novice in both areas.  I’m a hobbyist songwriter and am wanting to start learning how to compose & record digitally using both GarageBand and Logic Pro.  And it’s been about 15 years since I took 3D modeling classes in college (for architecture), but I want to get into it again to design some products I have in mind.  I don’t want to waste money buying more computer than I need, but it’s also important to me that I buy something that’s both capable of handling the basics well and gives me some room to grow.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

For production work you're always going be better off with the higher performance model. This is true if for no other reason than to "future proof" your computer.

If you're just a hobbyist, you likely can get away with the lesser model. But again ... consider the "future proofing" aspect and where your hobby might lead you..
