How do I change my number on my phone
so I got this phone from my friend and I want to change the number so that I am able to text and call people but I don’t know how

You will need to sign up with a cellular carrier for cell service. They will give you a SIM card or perhaps an email with a QR code that you scan with your phone and it will setup an eSIM with their service.
