How can I get my right AirPod to to connect to my phone

How can I sync my right AirPod with my left one? I have been having trouble trying to get my right airpod to connect but doesn’t and my AirPod box doesn’t want to factory reset either. My phone says the right AirPod is charge tho and everything

If there's no sound in one AirPod

Check the charge status on your iPhone or iPad to make sure that each AirPod is charging . Put both AirPods in your ears. Play audio to test both AirPods. If an AirPod still isn't working, reset your AirPods or contact Apple Support.
