My MacBook Pro has tingling feeling when charging

I'm trying to charge my MacBook Pro in a vacation house. The charger is working, but after a few hours, it started to have a tingly feeling whenever it was charging. I stayed in a different house in the same location for vacation last year, and this was a problem there too. I originally thought that it was due to faulty electricity, but now it says (online) that my charger needs to be properly grounded. I am attaching the link and an image from the page that I read.

I don't have the extra cable that's on the left. What should I do?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

First, is this a US location?

Some small vacation destinations may have less stringent electrical code requirements than big cities and commonly"grandfather" older construction.

Do the wall outlets have the third "ground" position? Some receptacles may have the third position but it is not properly connected. You can pick up a ground test gadget at most hardware stores for under US$10, even in vacation towns.

A handy gadget to keep in your travel bag. If the tool shows a proper ground, then the Apple extension cable should work.

I have four of those US extension cables. Three came with older Macbook Pros and I bought a fourth for my travel bag. All are proper three-prong cables:

Apple still sells them:  1.8-meter Power Adapter Extension Cable

as does OWC: (*) 1.8 Meter (72") Apple Genuine AC Power Cable

Some pundits have said the the extension cable does not truly "ground" the power adaptor because there is no contact on the "duck's head. That is not true:

Metal strips tucked under both sides of the channel make grounding contact with the "nail-head" metal guide on the adapter body. Mischief managed.

How old is your Macbook Pro? The stack exchange question is about a 2008 Macbook Pro and I've seen more reports of the "Tingler" when "silver-key" Macbook Pros were involved.
