Emoji

Do you not see a small happy face emoji key on your keyboard when on WhatsApp?

If not, do you have the Emoji Keyboard active in Settings ➜ General ➜ Keyboard ➜ Keyboards?

Or are you using a 3rd part keyboard? If so, does it have a setting for Emojis?

What do you mean it's inactive? It should just be listed there in the available keyboards. It has no switch or any other options.

In any app where you can write, there should be either the smily face key or the globe key, with the Emoji keyboard option.

Can you post a screen shot here of your keyboard? You can edit out anything personal.

Press and hold on the Globe Key to get the menu shown above. Then select the Emoji Keyboard from the list, assuming it appears there.

Do you see the emoji (or globe) key on the keyboard in other apps such as Messages or Notes?
