Hello BettyAnn3,
You mentioned that your iPod was erased. Let's verify the steps taken to erase your iPod first:
Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
If the issue persists, Get Support
Cheers.
Hi I restored it and I hit synch it starts too then stops I have 120GB older iPod
Hi BettyAnne3,
You haven't mentioned if you're attempting to sync with a PC (Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer) or a Mac (Sync content between your Mac and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch). You may first try syncing a single item or folder to verify the process works and to verify that file size is not prohibiting the transfer. Barring those, use the link in the above reply to connect with support to investigate this further.
Regards.
