lost remote
Hi
I lost the remote to my apple TV device. It is the latest model with ethernet. Is there a procedure I need to follow to ensure the replacement will work with the box's serial number?

Replacement remotes are available from Apple separately.

A replacement remote will have to be paired to the box, else its commands will be ignored.
Pair the Siri Remote with Apple TV - Apple Support
That’s it. Device serial number is not important for this.
