i downloaded the latest updat and still cannot get my face recognition back, what do i do
I downloaded latest update and my face recognition still does not work, how can i fix it

It seems you posted your question from the support article If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro. If that is the alert you're seeing and updating didn't help and you already checked for part history per step 2, then at this point step 3 would apply:
"3. If you still can't enroll your face or unlock your device with Face ID, you can take your device to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact Apple Support about your iPhone or your iPad."
If that is not the alert you're getting then you may try any steps not already completed from If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro first before following the same directive in step 9:
"Get service
If you still can't enroll your face, contact Apple Support.
Only a trained technician should service your device. Improper repair, modification, or use of nongenuine Apple components in the laser systems might prevent the safety mechanisms from functioning properly, and could cause hazardous exposure and injury to eyes or skin."
