Regarding the OS 13.4.1 (a) Rapid Security Update, seems both of my Macs were automatically updated. But when I use System Settings > General > Software Update, it says "macOS Ventura 13.4.1 (22F82)".

Regarding the OS 13.4.1 (a) Rapid Security Update, seems both of my Macs were automatically updated. But when I use System Settings > General > Software Update, it says "macOS Ventura 13.4.1 (22F82)".

To continue with my question, why does it not say 13.4.1 (a) for the OS version? That would be better.

Mac mini, macOS 10.15

I updated one MBP and it shows as 13.4.1(a) while the other MBP shows 13.4.1 (22F82) and indicates that the software is up to date. Not sure what's going on.
