Troubleshooting Face ID:
A. Overview these two links:
- If an Alert Says Face ID has been Disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
- If Face ID isn't Working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
B. Report this as a Bug to Apple:
Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know what exactly is occurring. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.
- Go Here: Feedback - FaceTime - Apple
- Select: "Report a Bug" for the "Feedback Type"
- Comment: on when you came across this issue, and how you have troubleshot it thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
- Proceed from there as necessary
