Is there a way for me to see who i have recent contact with? Through the sharing suggestions in the gallery or any other way? If a text or messenger message was deleted? Is it possible to see who I have had contact with in any way?

Hi Cashman811,

If you are looking for content that has been shared with you, see Use Shared with You on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and View photos and videos shared with you on iPhone.

"Note: Photos and videos you don’t save from a Messages conversation are deleted in Shared with You and your library if the conversation in Messages is deleted."

If you are trying to recover a deleted text message, follow Recover deleted messages on iPhone.

There is no list of people who have contacted you. If the above doesn't help, you may want to contact your carrier to see if they have a call list for you.

Take care.

Hi there Cashman811,

There isn't a way for you to view deleted messages in the Messages app. If you're wanting to see content that was deleted from the third-party Messenger app, you'd want to reach out to that app developer for more help. This link will help you get started with that: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

You could also try searching for third-party apps in the App Store that may provide some sort of monitoring capabilities for the content you're trying to see on your daughter's iPhone.

Take care.

Hello Cashman811,

It sounds like you're referring to Sharing Suggestions (explained in more detail here: Use Sharing Suggestions in Photos - Apple Support). You are correct in that removing the message thread removes that suggested contact. Unfortunately, there is not a way to restore that until more contact is made with that Contact.

However, we do understand what you are trying to do. Have you considered using Screen Time on your daughter's iPhone? That would allow for a greater range of parental safety controls. Learn more about that here: Set up parental controls with Family Sharing on iPhone - Apple Support.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.

Ok, so in my gallery when you hit the icon to share a photo with someone. A suggestion list pops up of people. From what I can gather that is from people you have recently had contact with. It shows a messenger icon or a iMessage icon next to the name. If you delete the iMessage thread they disappear. What I’m trying to do basically is see who my daughter has had contact with. Her mom who owns the plan she is on doesn’t think it’s a big deal and won’t help me. I do have access to daughters phone but if a messenger message or text is deleted idk how to find out who she has had contact with. That’s what I’m trying to do
