Has anyone else been denied replacement 2020 airpods pro due to static and crackle?
Apple acknowledges some Airpods Pro prior to October 2020 were prone to static and crackle and claims to service these free of charge(AirPods Pro Service Program for Sound Issues - Apple Support). The pair I purchased were manufactured in May 2020 and I purchase them in October 2020 (it is now July 2023). My pods have static and crackle and my local Apple store tested my pods yesterday and they failed. Apple Customer Service says it has been more than three years (?) and my pods do not qualify. Anyone else encounter this?
