Error message from Mimeo - an error occurred while loading the project extension Mimeo photos.

Has anyone followed the advice of Mimeo to download App Cleaner which Mimeo says will correct the problem and provide updates to Mimeo 5.3.1. My question is why doesn’t Mimeo send an update for the program so that I don’t have to download a third party app which isn’t in the Apple App Store.

I started a project on Sunday 7/9/23 and then on Monday 7/10/23 I got the error message. Spent hours talking to Apple Senior Tech. Trashed Mimeo, uploaded the MAC OS Ventura, downloaded Mimeo from the App Store, and still got the error message. Called Mimeo and “chatted” and was told the App Cleaner will solve the problem.

Has anyone solved the error problem regarding Mimeo Photo extension by using the App Cleaner?
