iPhone 12 skipping halfway thru song

I recently reset my iPhone to new/set it back up. Ever since then, if I’m moving around or my earbuds (apple brand/wired) or phone get jostled (I think?), the song I’m listening to skips to the next one. I’m listening using the music app, to purchased songs.

There’s nothing wrong with the songs/files, so I figured it must be something with my phone. But I can’t figure out what’s causing it exactly or how to stop it.

Any suggestions?

Why does my iPhone skip songs on its own? I have been having issues when I’m driving and listening to music on Spotify it starts skipping song. It doesn’t even let me finish one song when it’s already skipping not just one song but several songs. At first I thought it was my Spotify but today I decided to play the Apple Music and it did the same thing. It’s annoying and I already tried the “shake undo” and it still does it. I have the iPhone 12 Pro and the latest iOS. What can I do so I can finally listen to music without it skipping songs?
