I need to see my email in the Mail app in January and February 2018. How do I search for that time frame only or even scroll to it without having to scroll through all the other dates between now and then?

I wasn't able to specify a month range but was able to enter a date and have it filter down to those only.
Example: Try entering 1/1/18
or 2/1/18
It's not perfect but it might work for you. Perhaps someone else knows if there is a way to use AND, OR, NOT searching
in Mail and what the correct syntax is.
January 1, 2018 to February 28, 2018 seemed to work for me.

Yes. I imagine it will accept any date format you use in the OS.
