Activation Lock Screen Associated with a Different Apple ID

How can I get past an “Activation Lock” on a MacBook Pro 2020 that’s associated with another Apple ID? I have the previous “Use Device Password” but it’s saying it can’t be used because it was typed incorrectly too many times

I’ve already tried that. I even got the original owner to remove it from their iCloud and I’m still getting the same message.
Apple is saying the only other way is to show proof of purchase.

The original owner didn't do anything otherwise you wouldn't be running into this issue.

You won't be able to show proof of purchase because you bought a second had macbook and not directly from Apple.

You'll need to get in touch with the owner again, show them both links.
