Outlook won't allow copy and paste

When I try to copy and paste text from one email to another it dosen't work. I running Ventura and using Safari to get to Outlook. Suggestions???

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 13.4

In your original post, you said you were using Safari to access it. Now you say you're not using a browser, you're using Mail. Could you please clarify what application you're using to access your email that isn't working as you expect.

Does it work if you use a different browser? Does it work if you use the Outlook application? Or Mail?

Got it!

It could be one of those things where Microsoft doesn't quite follow the standards so things break. It's happened before.

If it were me, I'd just use the alternate browser for that task. But I'm not big on major detective work if I can find a workaround.

Sorry for the confusion. I use Safari to go to MSN then sign in to Outlook from there. But now if I use Chrome to go to MSN and sign into Outlook it works on Chrome. Hope that clarifies how I access Outlook.
