My son lost his phone on a golf course and doesn’t know the email he used to set up the ID. Is there another way to locate on a family member phone

We understand the concern; however, Find My iPhone would be the only Apple service available that can help with locating or tracking the missing device, if it was enabled before the device went missing. If your son is unable to remember their Apple ID, he may be able to use the steps in this next resource to help locate that Apple ID: If you forgot your Apple ID email address or phone number - Apple Support

If your Son’s phone was setup appropriately in Family Sharing, the phone will be locatable in FindMy -> Devices of the other Family members.

They can also “Play a Sound” and place it in “Lost Mode” on their Family Member’s behalf.
