Apple TV login on Smart TV
Every time I open the Apple TV app on my LG Smart TV (2020) it asks me to log in again, using my mobile and a QR code.
- Verify that the TV privacy settings allow apps to store user information on disk, if that is one of the options.
- Try to delete and reinstall the Apple TV app. [← This seems to have solved it from some users that reported back.]
- Try a cold restart of the TV itself (not just standby-wake, but really off-on).
The Apple TV app is supposed to store and retrieve user information for the app as last used, so that you can continue where you left off. Something is preventing it to work as intended.
