i can't install rosetta 2

Usually one does not have to install Rosetta. It will be installed automatically when you try to run an intel application (or a Universal application if you choose to run using Rosetta, for some reason).

Which mac, which OS version, and how are you trying to install Rosetta? And what exactly is happening when you try?
