Connecting SSD Samsung T7 2TB to iPhone

I have seen here a number of questions I had myself about connection problems concerning T7, but no answers that solve the question. I contacted Apple support, had a phone call with them, but no response other than « ask Samsung ».

Here is the solution that worked for me: the Apple connector USB-A with lightening power does not deliver enough power, so you need a special connector on the USB-A connection that allows to add one more power source. This connector has one male and two female USB-A connections.

This solution also works for other SSD like Extreme SSD.
