How to view all unnamed faces - Solved!!

As a possible workaround

Set up a smart album with person contains <letter>

  1. Create a smart album
  2. Create a rule for "Person" -> "does not include" -> "a"
  3. Repeat for each letter of the alphabet
  4. Create a rule for "person" -> "is" -> <blank>. By blank I mean you don’t write anything it will filter all of the photos without a face.
  5. (Optional)- Create a rule for "album" -> "is not" -> "screenshots".

There's a screenshot of my rule below.

Interesting. I tried it using only vowels, which seems to work for all the names I know. And none of the results had someone I had already named, and there were a bunch I had keyworded but not named.

But I got lots of pictures with people that Photos had not recognized as faces, at all. However, all the pictures had people in them-- no peopleless landscapes, for instance. I'm not totally sure what I get, but this could be very useful.
