literally everyday I could even yesterday I could connect and download stuff but now none of its working and I have no clue why, I was downloading songs Ect yesterday from my iPod touch 4th Gen but now nothing works??? Did apple shut them down??? Any advice? :(

DO NOT SIGN OUT OF YOUR APPLE ID (or you'll end up like me and never have access again)
SET THE DATE TO 8TH JULY, then the app store and iTunes store will work again
You'll have to do this to use it until apple renews the certificate (PS - If you're reading this Apple, please do)

For security reasons 4th generation and older iPod Touches can no longer connect to the app store. What's more, there are probably no apps left on the store that will work with the iOS available on the older iPods.
You can still use iTunes (the programme on a computer) to add music to those old iPod Touch models. If you use a Mac with OS Catalina (10:15) or later, then you use Finder, not iTunes.
