FaceTime Not signing in or working

Just got an iPad and it will not allow me to sign into my FaceTime and use it. It just loads for minutes then does nothing and I just repeat the process over and over. I’ve tried from the app and from settings- neither work.

If you haven't already, we recommend working through the steps listed here: If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


  1. Make sure that your iPad has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
  2. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure that your time zone is set correctly.
  3. Test on a different Wi-Fi network
