IPad 8th panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffff0187ab60c)

I have owned an iPad for about a year or two after purchase, but I haven't used it frequently. So far, I have only charged it less than a hundred times. However, starting from January this year, when I use Hulu, it suddenly restarts, and afterward, it frequently restarts and freezes. I have tried uninstalling Hulu, resetting the settings, updating the system, and even restoring it to its factory settings. But even without any additional software installed, the iPad still starts restarting after some time. Sometimes, when I swipe the screen, there are purple/pink patches in certain corners or half of the screen.

Compared to the initial situation, the improvement now is that the restarts are less frequent, but it still affects everyday use. I have visited the Genius Bar, but they only repeat what's available online and have me redo the things I have already done. They used diagnostic software and informed me that the hardware is normal. Finally, their solution was to get a new iPad. I feel helpless.

I was wondering if anyone knows what to do in this situation. I have searched for my specific issue number in forums, but I haven't found any similar inquiries.

Hello Lyla7,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have completed quite a bit of troubleshooting for this issue. If we understand correctly, this happens specifically with Hulu. Right? If so, if you have tried the following which is from If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support and helps with app specific issues, then you will need to reach out to the app developer. Further troubleshooting is not available on Apple's end as this would be related to the app itself.

1 Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2 Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3 Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4 Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

If you need help getting in touch with the app developer, guidance can be found in How to contact an app developer - Apple Support.

Best of luck.
