commandline updates

hi community here i am new to mac so that i tried the xcode and then deleted but still i get the command line update so kindly help me with your ideas

The CommandLine tools for Xcode, and the Xcode installation itself are separate entities with their own installation processes. You should not be receiving any Software Update entries for the CommandLine tools unless you deliberately installed an earlier version.


Click on the Desktop to get Finder's focus and press shift+cmd+G which is the Go to Folder prompt. Copy and paste the following into that dialog and press return:


/Library/Developer


This will open that folder in a new Finder Window where you can drag and drop the CommandLineTools folder to the Trash. It will prompt for your administrator password to complete that move. Empty the Trash. Reboot the Mac.
