This copy of the Install macOS Ventura application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS.

On the App Store on my MacBook Pro when I try to open the macOS Ventura App I get this message in a pop up- "This copy of the Install macOS Ventura application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS." What is the reason for this and what does it mean? I have the 2017 MacBook Pro 14,3 with four thunderbolt 3 ports and ut currently has Sierra 10.12.6

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu, throw the existing installer away, restart the computer, and download it again.
